Elan skis

The Elan story began during the Second World War, with the handmade production of hundreds of pairs of lightweight, resistant skis for the partisans.
The Elan brand was really created in 1945 by Rudi Finzga, an audacious visionary and ski jumping record-holder in 1941. But it was thanks to Swedish legend Ingemar Stenmark, who won the World Cup 86 times on Elan skis, that the brand made a name for itself and became the world's biggest ski manufacturer in 1984.
Thanks to decades of research and development work, Elan was named the most innovative brand by the Plus X Award jury in 2012 and 2015.
Influenced by the past of its local population, inspired by the passion of its customers and encouraged by the genius of its employees and ambassadors, the Elan brand will continue to shape the future of skiing and sport in general.
